This Installation Shows The Power Of A Book By Distorting The Foundation Of A Brick Wall

In 2007 Jorge Méndez Blake, a Mexican mixed – media artist presented his three dimensional installation called “The Castle” (‘El Castillo’). Blake’s work shows the huge impact that a book has to our society. His project presents a wall of bricks which at first sight might look like any ordinary structure but when you look up close you notice a single book at the bottom of the structure and it manages to curve an entire 75-foot-long wall.
